Ring-11 gas-tight level switch is designed for liquid level detection in industrial applications that involve high pressure, high temperature, toxic gases, or corrosive media. It is based on the proven Ring-11 tuning fork design, but it adds a special gas-tight leadthrough structure to improve sealing reliability and process safety in severe operating conditions.

The switch uses a glass-to-metal sealed connector between the process connection and the instrument head. This sealing structure combines borosilicate glass and stainless steel to create a strong barrier. It helps prevent process liquid from penetrating into the housing over time. It also helps protect the electronics from direct exposure to hot liquid and reduces the risk of accidental leakage under pressure.

Stable Tuning Fork Detection in Difficult Process Conditions

The switch works on the tuning fork resonance principle. Piezoelectric devices drive the fork into vibration and detect changes in its resonant frequency. When liquid touches the fork, the vibration frequency drops. The electronics detect this change and convert it into a switching signal.
