Inside the chamber, a magnetic float moves up and down with the liquid level. As the float moves, it drives the nearby bi-color magnetic flaps in the visual indicator. The flaps turn from white to red or from red to white, which gives a clear local view of the actual liquid level in the vessel.

The visual indicator uses a broader display area and larger magnetic flaps. This improves both viewing angle and visible distance.
