Flap-11C Plastic Magnetic Level Indicator for Corrosive Applications
Flap-11C plastic magnetic level indicator is designed for local liquid level indication in corrosive applications. It uses high-quality PP material, so it works well with acidic liquids that are compatible with PP. It is a practical choice for chemical water treatment, wastewater systems, and other industrial processes where corrosion resistance is important.
The indicator works on the principle of communicating vessels and magnetic coupling. The chamber mounts beside the vessel and connects directly to the process liquid. A magnetic float inside the chamber rises and falls with the liquid level. As the float moves, it drives the nearby bi-color magnetic flaps. The flaps turn from white to red or from red to white. This gives operators a clear local view of the liquid level.
Lightweight Design for Easier Installation
One key advantage of the Flap-11C is its low weight. At the same measuring range, it weighs only about one-fifth of a comparable stainless steel model. This makes transport, handling, and installation much easier. It also reduces structural load on the installation point.

Clear Local Reading with Practical Protection Options
The visual indicator uses a broad display area and larger magnetic flaps. This improves the viewing angle and makes the level easier to see. The large scale and numerals also help operators read the level from far away, even at distances of up to 60 meters.
The instrument is available with IP65 or IP66/67 protection, depending on the application. Users can also add magnetic switches, compact magnetic switches, and remote transmitters when they need alarm, switching, or remote output. These accessories support SIL2 / SIL3 functional safety requirements and are available with intrinsically safe and flameproof approvals.

This plastic magnetic level indicator is widely used in regeneration tanks, refrigerant tanks, hydrochloric acid tanks, alkali tanks, wastewater tanks, and raw material tanks in dyeing plants. It is especially useful in membrane-based sulfate removal systems, wastewater treatment plants, and other industrial processes that need corrosion-resistant local level indication with lower installation weight.
